What is Sciatica?

It refers to pain felt along the sciatic nerve, which runs from your lower back, down through the buttock, hamstrings and into the lower leg on both sides.

What are the symptoms of sciatica?

  • Dull, aching or burning sensations, sharp and shooting pain

  • Tingling sensation in the leg

  • Muscle weakness

  • Numbness

  • Difficulty moving the leg or foot

  • A constant pain on one side of the back of the calf muscle

  • Difficulty standing up
